WAEC releases 2023 WASSCE results for School candidates – Check

The management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2023 WASSCE results of Senior High School (SHS) students who sat for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination online.

The Council in a blog post sighted by Thisterm.com said the provisional WASSCE for School results have been hosted at https://ghana.waecdirect.org. Students it said can check their results using a WASSCE result checker card.

The organization in the post said the results of 4,878 candidates have been blocked for failing to return learning support materials supplied to them by their schools and such candidates are to contact their schools.

“Candidates are to note that WAEC results are secured and can be authenticated using its results verification system. The WAEC QR code can be downloaded and used to verify results,” the management of the Council said.

How to buy WASSCE result checker card

1. Visit the WASSCE checker card website

2. Click on the “Buy Now” button.

3. Fill in the details by adding your First name, Last name, Phone number and E-mail address.

4. Scroll down and click on “Proceed To Payment”.

5. Select “Pay with Mobile Money” and enter your MoMo number.

6. Click on “Confirm”.

7. Approve payment on your phone by entering your Mobile Money Pin.

How to check WASSCE result

1. Visit the WASSCE result portal

2. Enter your Index number

3. Select Examination type (WASSCE School)

4. Select Examination year (2023)

5. Enter your Date of birth (day-month-year)

6. Enter your voucher card serial number

7. Enter the PIN on the voucher card

8. Re-enter your Index number and

9. Select Examination year (2023)

10. Click on the Submit button and wait for your results to be displayed in the next window.
