WAEC places limit on the 2023/2024 WASSCE results checker card

The 2023 WASSCE for School results checker card used to check the West African Senior School Certificate Examination result can be used up to a maximum of three (3) times, thus one (1) unit for each use, an official of WAEC has said.

The official in a discussion with Thisterm.com also said participants or candidates of the International examination can request a result confirmation or result verification once with a scratch card, thus 3 times on the card for use.

“To check further your WASSCE result after exhausting the 3 units, you will need to purchase another WASSCE results checker card or scratch card which will entitle you to another 3 units,” the staff of the Examinations Council explained.

Asked if a checker card can be used to check more than one WASSCE result, he said no adding that “you may only use one scratch card to either check, confirm or verify a result. But to check another result, you will require a new card.”

He further stated, “If a candidate misuses a scratch card by attempting to use it against another result different from the first, you will be penalised as having used the card and will be presented with the appropriate error message.”

How to buy WASSCE result checker card

1. Visit the WASSCE checker card website

2. Click on the “Buy Now” button.

3. Fill in the details by adding your First name, Last name, Phone number and E-mail address.

4. Scroll down and click on “Proceed To Payment”.

5. Select “Pay with Mobile Money” and enter your MoMo number.

6. Click on “Confirm”.

7. Approve payment on your phone by entering your Mobile Money Pin.

How to check WASSCE result

1. Visit the WASSCE result portal

2. Enter your Index number

3. Select Examination type (WASSCE School)

4. Select Examination year (2023)

5. Enter your Date of birth (day-month-year)

6. Enter your voucher card serial number

7. Enter the PIN on the voucher card

8. Re-enter your Index number and

9. Select Examination year (2023)

10. Click on the Submit button and wait for your results to be displayed in the next window.
