WAEC announces support for 2023 WASSCE results checking issues
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) following the release of the 2023 WASSCE results says students who may encounter any challenge in the WASSCE results checking should send them an email for immediate support.
The Council in a blog post sighted by Thisterm.com said candidates who may encounter problems in checking the WASSCE for School results should send an email to WaecghanaSupport@fleettechltd.com or info@waecgh.org for assistance.
The not-for-profit-making organization (WAEC), however, indicated that prospective students whose 2023 WASSCE School results have been withheld or cancelled due to examination malpractice are excluded from the online support.
An official of the West African Examinations Council in a discussion with Thisterm.com said the move forms part of the adequate measures put in place by his outfit to address problems sometimes associated with the provisional results.
How to buy WASSCE results checker card
1. Visit the WASSCE Checker Cards website
2. Click on the “Buy Now” button.
3. Fill in the details by adding your First name, Last name, Phone number and E-mail address.
4. Scroll down and click on “Proceed To Payment”.
5. Select “Pay with Mobile Money” and enter your Mobile Money (MoMo) number.
6. Click on “Confirm”.
7. Approve payment on your phone by entering your Mobile Money (MoMo) Pin.
How to check WASSCE results
1. Visit the WASSCE result portal
2. Enter your Index Number.
3. Select the Type of Examination (e.g. WASSCE).
4. Select your Examination Year eg. 2023.
5. Enter your Date of Birth
6. Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
8. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
9. Click on Submit button and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
How to print 2023 WASSCE results
1. After clicking on Submit and the WASSCE result displayed
2. Use the shortcut CTRL+P to prepare the results for print
3. At the destination area select Save as PDF
4. Click on the Print button below to save the 2023 WASSCE result on your device.
5. Go to any nearby Internet cafe or printing press to print the result to hard copy.
