In a statement shared with Thisterm.com, TTAG said the immediate release of the GTLE results will enable the College of Education graduate who partook in the examination to apply for the Ghana Education Service (GES) recruitment.

“The leadership of the TTAG also acknowledges several Trained Teachers who participated in the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) in April 2024 to redeem themselves to enhance their qualifications.

By this, we appeal to the National Teaching Council (NTC) to expedite the necessary actions on the release of the examination results to enable these individuals to apply for GES postings,” the Trainees Association said in the release.

TTAG’s appeal comes after the government through the Ministry of Education (MoE) granted the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to recruit the first batch of degree holders from public Colleges of Education.

“The Ghana Education Service is requesting applications from qualified trained teachers who graduated with a first degree from only public Colleges of Education, to be considered for employment,” GES said after the clearance.

The Teacher Trainees Association leadership following the ongoing recruitment has entreated all qualified trained teachers to take the recruitment process seriously and submit the required documents for the application.

All qualified Trained Teachers are to take note of the recent development on the release of financial clearance and proceed accordingly in their application processes. This is a significant opportunity that should not be missed

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Ghana, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Education (MoE), Ghana Education Service (GES), and relevant stakeholders for their responsiveness to the concerns raised by Trained Teachers and the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana,” TTAG said in the statement.
