NTC reveals why it stopped publishing results statistics of the GTLE
The National Teaching Council (NTC) management has explained why it stopped publishing provisional results statistics to indicate student teachers or candidates who passed or failed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).
Registrar of the Council, Christian Addai Poku at a meeting with the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) said his outfit’s decision not to declare the statistics of the GTLE results is to avoid misinterpretation by the media.
“The media always report the failure of graduate teachers who sat for the licensure examination, they don’t comment on the positive side, so this year NTC will not publish the GTLE results statistics,” the Registrar of NTC told TTAG.
