NTC postpones ‘first’ 2024/25 licensure exam registration deadline
After scheduling Thursday, February 29, 2024, as the Ghana teacher licensure exam registration deadline, the National Teaching Council (NTC) says it will end the first phase of the GTLE registration process on Thursday, 14th March 2024.
The extension comes after the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana petitioned the NTC to give institutions ample time to upload the data of the qualified students from the Colleges of Education onto the NTC examination portal.
In a statement shared with Thisterm.com, the management of the National Teaching Council also said the date for the teacher examination to be conducted has been postponed from 17th to 19th March 2024 to 22nd to 24th April 2024.
The extension, the Head of Public Affairs has said is a proactive measure to enable prospective candidates from the Colleges of Education to register for the examination due to the delay in uploading their data on the NTC portal.
“Prospective candidates are encouraged to visit the examination’s official website at exam.ntc.gov.gh for detailed instructions and to complete their registration before the revised deadline,” the NTC spokesman stated in the post.
