N&MC releases 2023 nursing licensing examination results – Check
The management of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has released the nursing licensing examination results of prospective candidates who sat for various basic programmes in September last academic year.
The Council following the licensing results release has said Section 73 (c) of Act 857 of the Health Professions Regulatory Bodies Act 2013 states that it is an offence for a person who practices or professes to practice as a practitioner in Ghana without registration.
How to check nursing licensing exam result
1. Purchase a result scratch card for 10.00 from the regional offices of the Council. (Each scratch card allows for up to five (5) result checks. Once you have exhausted the card, you will need to purchase a new one for further checks)
2. Visit the NMC result-checking portal
3. Enter your Secret Code on the Scratch card.
5. Enter your index number
6. Choose the Exam date
7. Click on Check Results to view your results.
8. If you have passed all the required subjects, you can proceed to register by clicking on “Register now.”
9. Complete the registration form online, submit it, and print a hard copy for the necessary endorsements as specified on the form.
10. Pay the approved registration fee at any branch of Republic Bank and submit the filled and endorsed form along with the pay-in-slip at the NMC Regional Office.
11. Proceed to the nearest N&MC Regional office with the documents for an official receipt.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council says failure of candidates to register within two months from the date of the publication of results would attract a penalty.
