The leadership of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has invited the Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum to serve as the Guest speaker at this year’s Annual Educational Leadership Summit.

This comes after the National Executive Director of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah led a delegation to pay a courtesy visit to the Honorable Minister for Education, Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum.

In a post sighted by Thisterm.com, GNACOPS said the Summit slated for August 5-10 at Bunso Cocoa College, will bring together 240 delegates from private schools across Ghana, policymakers, traditional rulers, and other key stakeholders.

“The theme, “Reimagine, Rethink, and Redeliver: Crafting Education for Perpetual Revolution,” aims to explore innovative approaches to shaping policy and improving the private educational system in Ghana,” it said in the post.

The GNACOPS delegation expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s commitment to engaging with private educational stakeholders and exploring collaborative solutions to the challenges facing private education in Ghana.

They emphasized the significance of the Minister in Charge of Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe constituency participation in the upcoming Leadership Summit, which would inspire and motivate the participants.

The Education Minister Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum at his office welcomed the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) delegation and expressed his support for the 2024 Annual Educational Summit’s objectives.

He acknowledged the crucial role private schools play in Ghana’s education system and assured the delegation of his ministry’s commitment to fostering a collaborative environment for the betterment of education in Ghana.

The courtesy visit and invitation demonstrate the strong partnership between GNACOPS and the Ministry of Education, paving the way for a successful and impactful Annual Educational Leadership Summit 2024.
