The Ghana Education Service (GES) has apologised for the technical challenges confronting the teachers recruitment portal, which does not permit 2022 Colleges of Education graduates to submit applications for employment.

“We apologise for the technical challenges you are facing on our recruitment portal. Our IT team are working on it currently. Please bear with us. Thank you,” the management of GES said in a post sighted by Thisterm.com.

This comes after the government through the Ministry of Education (MoE) granted the Ghana Education Service (GES) financial clearance to recruit the first batch of degree holders from public Colleges of Education.

Job Purpose
1. To facilitate Learning using 21st Century technology
2. Continuously improve learner’s ability to research using new technologies
3. Teach highly motivated learners, and cater for learners with different learning abilities and help them achieve excellent academic results
4. Attend relevant and continuous professional development sessions
5. Use a variety of assessment tools and tasks to accurately assess levels of learners’ competency
6. Any other responsibility that would be assigned to you by your Head of Institution

Criteria for recruitment
1. Completed College of Education in 2022 and has no outstanding examination or referrals
2. Completed mandatory national service
3. Ready to work wherever service would be needed.

1. Degree certificate
2. NSS Certificate
4. NTC licensure number
5. Ghana Card
6. Passport-sized photograph
